What is NoCrastination?
NoCrastination is the in-person community where international AI builders meet and collaborate. We run weekly build sessions in Vienna cafés: you bring your own project, work in timed deep-work blocks at a small table of builders, and share what you shipped at the end. Members come from 14+ countries.
What is a build session — and how is it different from coworking?
A build session is a structured meetup, not a shared office. It has a fixed start, timed work blocks with short breaks, a matched table of people, and a closing show-and-tell. Coworking gives you a desk; a build session gives you momentum, a deadline, and people who care whether you shipped.
How much does it cost?
Joining NoCrastination is free and your first session is on us — we use a simple token system for sessions. Because we meet in cafés, the only money you spend at a session is on your own food and drinks.
Where do the sessions happen?
In partner cafés across Vienna’s districts — places with good coffee, Wi-Fi, and tables big enough to build at. You get the exact venue in your session details after you pick a time. Vienna is our beta city; more cities are planned.
What session formats are there?
Three. Build Sprint: a weekday deep-work session. Ship Saturday: a weekend-morning session to push your project forward. Demo Night: a monthly show-and-tell where members demo what they shipped.
Do I need to speak German?
No. The community is international — members from 14+ countries — and sessions run in English by default. German speakers are equally at home, and the site is available in English and German.
How does the matching work?
When you sign up, you tell us what you’re building. For each session we match you to a small table of builders working on related things — similar stacks, stages, or problems — so the break conversations are actually useful.
What should I bring?
Your laptop and charger, plus one concrete thing you want to make progress on — a feature, a landing page, a model eval, a chapter. Headphones optional. We take care of the structure; the café takes care of the coffee.
Can I just try it once?
Yes. There’s no commitment — your first session is free, so you can simply see whether the format works for you. Most people who come once come back, but that’s entirely up to you.
Do I have to be working on AI — or be technical at all?
No. Most members are founders, indie hackers, AI engineers, or freelancers building products (often AI-powered), but what matters is that you’re building something of your own. Designers, writers, researchers, and students are all welcome.
Can I find collaborators or a co-founder here?
Many members do. There’s no matchmaking algorithm — but building next to the same people every week is the most reliable way to find beta users, collaborators, and co-founders: you see how someone actually works before you commit to anything.
Is this a vibe coding meetup? How does vibe building fit in?
It's a home for the vibe coding community, and it goes a step further. Vibe building is the natural extension of vibe coding: instead of stopping at the code, you use that same momentum to ship real outcomes — a business, a product, automations for your daily tasks, or an internal tool. Our build sessions give you the structure and the people to actually get there.
Still curious? The first session is the best answer.
