The AI meetup in Vienna where you actually build
Most AI meetups follow the same script: a talk, a Q&A, thirty minutes of small talk over drinks — and home you go, project untouched. NoCrastination is the other kind of AI meetup.
Every week, AI builders across Vienna meet at a café table, open their laptops, and work on their own projects side by side — in timed deep-work blocks, with breaks to compare notes and a short show-and-tell at the end. You don’t come to watch someone else’s demo. You come to ship your own.
How a session works
- Pick a format that fits your week: Build Sprint (weekday deep work), Ship Saturday (weekend morning), or Demo Night (monthly show-and-tell).
- Tell us what you’re building. We match you to a small table of builders working on related things — similar stacks, stages, or problems.
- Work in focused blocks. Talk in the breaks: swap prompts, stacks, and half-finished ideas.
- End with a quick show-and-tell: what did you ship today?
Who you’ll meet
- Founders, indie hackers, AI engineers and researchers, freelancers, and students building products of their own.
- Members from 14+ countries — sessions run in English by default (German-friendly too).
- If you’re building with or on AI in Vienna — an agent, a model-powered product, a weekend experiment — you’ll fit right in.
What it costs
- NoCrastination is free to join, and your first session is on us.
- Sessions happen in partner cafés across Vienna’s districts — you only pay for whatever you eat and drink.
FAQ
Is this a networking event?
It’s networking by building. You’ll meet the same kinds of people as at a classic meetup — but over real work instead of name tags, which makes the connections stick.
Do I need to be an AI expert?
No. Plenty of members are just starting to build with AI — what matters is that you’re working on something of your own.
How often do sessions run?
Weekly — Build Sprints on weekdays and Ship Saturday on weekend mornings — plus a monthly Demo Night.
